Muito curioso...conhecia a imagem do toureiro português, porque esteve no Stedelijk em Amesterdão. Queria ter ido...Pode ser que a encontre por aqui...
(A propósito)
"Unlike any genre, the portrait demands the meeting of two subjectivities: if the artist watches, judges the sitter, the sitter is privileged, by the portrait, to watch and judge back. In no other case does what the artist is painting exists on the same plane of freedom and ontological equality as the artist her or himself, and in no other case is the role of the artist as mediator rather than dictator or inventor so literally accentuated by the actual situation in which art comes into being." (Linda Nochlin)
